Starting September 2026, iCloud+ subscribers in more than 100 countries — including Ukraine — get access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost.
What’s Changing
Previously, getting the full set of Apple services — cloud storage, streaming and games — meant either paying for three separate subscriptions or upgrading to the pricier Apple One bundle. Now any paid iCloud+ plan, including the cheapest 50GB tier, automatically includes access to Apple TV and Apple Arcade.
Family Sharing extends this benefit to the whole household — up to five people can use the storage, streaming and games under a single subscription.
Standalone Subscriptions Are Being Phased Out
In countries where the update has launched, standalone subscriptions to Apple TV and Apple Arcade will stop being sold. Anyone who previously paid for them separately is automatically moved to access through iCloud+ — existing standalone subscriptions get cancelled, while Arcade save data and progress remain untouched.
Where It’s Available
The update applies in India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Turkiye, the UAE, Nigeria, Pakistan, Ukraine, and dozens of other countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
The US, Canada, Australia, the UK and most of Europe are not included. Apple is targeting markets where standalone TV and Arcade subscriptions previously had low uptake.
Alongside the bundle, Apple TV became available in 59 additional countries where it had never launched before, bringing its total reach to roughly 170 countries.
Apple Music Select
In some regions, iCloud+ is also gaining a new tier called Apple Music Select — ad-free, curated music stations. It’s not a full Apple Music subscription, but a way to nudge users toward upgrading to the full service at a discounted rate.
Apple’s Position
Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services and Health, framed the move as bringing storage, entertainment and games together under one subscription. For the company, it’s a way to grow the subscriber base for TV and Arcade in markets where standalone uptake was low — even at the cost of some direct revenue from those services.
For users, the same cloud storage payment now also unlocks Arcade’s game catalog and Apple TV’s shows and films.
