Design & Display – Nothing Groundbreaking
The iPhone 16 sticks to a familiar design with only minimal changes. It comes in new colors like ultramarine, turquoise, and pink, adding a fresh touch to the lineup. The build remains solid, but the phone feels slightly lighter in hand. Is that a good or bad thing? Hard to say—recognizability is a key factor. Besides, you’ll only notice the new color if you opt for a clear case.
The 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display remains bright and vibrant, as expected. However, the refresh rate is still locked at 60Hz, which might disappoint users accustomed to smoother screens. And if you flip the iPhone 16 face down next to the iPhone 15 or even the iPhone 13, spotting the difference becomes a real challenge.
Performance with A18 Chip
